Our client, a successful iGaming provider, is searching for a Commercial Director to join their UK team. The Commercial Director will be a leading member of the organisation and a main point of contact for top tier clients within the UK. The successful candidate will be required to build and maintain solid working relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenues and will be heavily involved in selling products to new and existing customers. Extensive iGaming and sales experience is required for this role. An existing network of contacts within the industry is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Act as a leading member of the organisation for customers within the UK industry.
Support customers and monetise correctly by developing and nurturing senior management level relationships in order to understand customers’ business strategy.
Sell new products to customers in a consultative way by understanding and defining their requirements.
In partnership with Head of Account Management, develop revenues from newly launched and existing customers.
Be an expert in all current and future company offerings, displaying passion and confidence when talking about the range of solutions available to customers.
Through research, targeted contact, existing relationships or formal introductions, identify new business targets and move the customer through the sales cycle.
In collaboration with Head of Business Development, create and manage the sales pipeline through focused activity, and co-ordinate internal teams in converting leads to customers.
Manage all sales material, including presentational resources, ensuring they are kept up to date and relevant.
Based on business needs and customer requirements, create profitable commercials.
Report customer progression back to the business throughout the sales cycle.
As required, attend events, conferences and trade shows as a representative of the company.
Facilitate demonstrations of product solutions to customers, either face-to-face or remotely.
Develop initiatives to win more new business in collaboration with the Product and Marketing teams.
Previous experience with online B2B sales in an account management role or a commercial B2C role. UK betting / gaming experience is advantageous.
Must be flexible in a complex, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage top tier clients effectively, professionally, and proficiently.
Able to work and deliver to tight and demanding deadlines.
Highly motivated with the ability to motivate others.
Display strong leadership skills, getting involved with the workload.
