Overview

Our client, a Voice Communications Software Provider, is searching for a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for identifying and automating both new and existing test scripts, ensure automation processes and documentation is created and updated, and ensure any defects found are reviewed/re-tested. The ideal candidate must be ISEB/ISTQB Foundation qualified with a minimum of 4 years' experience with Automation in C#.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preliminary project/feature scoping and effort estimation.
  • Identify and automate new and existing test scripts.
  • Ensure automation processes and documentation is created/updated.
  • Troubleshoot automated processes.
  • Provide input to the Continuous Integration pipeline.
  • Gain insight and provide expertise whilst working closely with the Development team.
  • Ensure regression test documentation is kept up to date.
  • Ensure any defends found are documented and review/re-test any possible resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively with support and project office in assisting functional/configuration clarifications.
  • Where necessary, recreate customer failures.
  • Compare the recorder to new softphones/handsets and upgrades.

 

Requirements

  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation qualified.
  • Degree educated, or equivalent higher education qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience with Automation in C#.
  • Previous experience in agile development environments Automating QA processes.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of API automation in C# using either JMeter, Postman or Webdriver.
  • Must be able to manage multiple workflows and tasks, displaying excellent time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of testing fundamentals (i.e., BD and TDD).
  • Able to test and document in a precise and structured way.
  • Able to take ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, small organisation.
  • Enthusiastic about technology, product and customer success.

 

Beneficial:

 

  • Previous DevOps experience.
  • Previous Linux/Kubernetes experience.
  • Familiar with Continuous Integration
