Overview

Our client, a successful cloud communications provider, is searching for a Chief Revenue Officer to join their growing team in Manchester. The Chief Revenue Officer will create and implement a clear strategy that outlines routes to markets, lines of business and associated performance expectations to deliver annual revenue/profitability budget. Previous experience working with Cloud Business Communications is required for this role.

  • In collaboration with key partners and staff, create and implement a clear strategy that outlines routes to markets, lines of business and associated performance expectations to deliver annual revenue/profitability budget.
  • Drive sales to increase revenues, and those delivered through affiliates/partners, managing and overseeing the sales and marketing teams.
  • Take ownership of the recruitment, training and retention of a cohesive and motivated team, delivering individual and the company’s performance targets.
  • In line with the company’s recurring revenue model, ensure client retention and growth of each client account.
  • Build and maintain solid vendor partnerships with 3rd parties.
  • Ensure all products and services deliver incremental revenue opportunities for partners.
  • Ensure vendor partner management and sales teams are sufficiently trained and educated on all company solutions.
  • Manage internal and external resources and budget with regards to marketing.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing activities and sales initiatives, driving direct and indirect revenues to meet sales strategy.
  • When required, provide clear and precise information to the board, key stakeholders, partners and staff in a timely manner.
  • Make informed decisions by ensuring performance and trends are fully understood.

 

Requirements

  • Previously worked with Cloud Business Communications.
  • A good understanding of how customer experience is being transformed by digital communications technology.
  • Experience of working within the Fintech industry.
  • Highly skilled at communicating with senior level customers.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Motivated, confident self-starter able to demonstrate initiative.
  • Experience working within a technology-based business and a successful record in digital communication systems sales.
  • Must be located near the company’s Manchester office.
