Overview

Our Client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Implementation Engineer to join their successful and growing team in Ireland. The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for providing key support to presales teams in a busy, customer centric environment. As well as understanding customers' needs and requirements to adequately design and adjust products, the Implementation Engineer work closely with clients to carry out implementations and resolve complex issues. The successful candidate will have a proven track record within the IT industry in a similar position.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and implement company products in premise and hosted environments.
  • Recommend solutions and assist both internal and external stakeholders with the company’s technologies and products.
  • Complete implementations and professional service requests for both internal and external customers.
  • Understand and correct issues ensuring effective troubleshooting.
  • Manage own workload effectively whilst working closely with PMO team on multiple project requests.
  • Meet customer needs by designing solutions and test plans based on product capabilities.
  • Complete complicated integration requested ensuring standardisation in collaboration with development and product teams.  
  • Ensure thorough documentation of solution setup for future support and maintenance purposes.

 

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Computer Information systems, Network Administration or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with SaaS software support and installation.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an IT/ deployment role within relevant industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with SQL Server usages and administration.
  • Experienced in Windows server OS installation, configuration, customisation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with PowerShell and command line scripting.
  • Strong customer facing experience displaying excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Strong knowledge of networking / connectivity.
  • Previous exposure to Internet Information Services configuration / troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Windows domain authentication and security.

  • MongoDB or non-relational databases
  • JIRA/Confluence
  • Telco, VOIP, and recording systems.
  • AWS or Azure
  • RESTful API programming
  • Linux knowledge
  • RabbitMQ
